Frequently Asked Questions

The CD is compatible with any CD drive in a Windows computer.  Most machines which were delivered with a CD drive will have adequate processing speeds to utilize the disk without difficulty. If you wish to improve access times, you can copy the curriculum to your hard drive. This will be particularly useful in older machines. We don't recommend using the program on Windows 3.1 or on a machine with less than 16MB of RAM.  Although we are currently shipping only a Windows version, we should release the MAC/Windows CD version later this year.

At this time we are not able to offer the curriculum on other formats.

Our curriculum comes to you in Adobe Acrobat .pdf file format. Acrobat is a very powerful, unique cross platform document viewer.  Acrobat is included with your Curriculum Disk and can be loaded on to your hard drive for use as the curriculum viewer. Many users may already have Acrobat (as it is a common supplement to web browsers). 

Our curriculum was developed in a manner consistent with the developmentally appropriate practices guidelines of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Because the curriculum can be used with a wide range of age groups, it is important to remember that specific activities need to be selected and presented to particular groups of children in ways that are consistent with those guidelines.

Our curriculum is designed to be use with young children ages 3, 4 and 5.

All of the materials in the curriculum can be printed out. Worksheets, patterns, flannelboard pictures and other materials can be duplicated for use within your facility. Obviously, the materials are copyrighted and cannot be distributed in any way. You will receive a Limited License with your disc which gives you the ability to make copies of the documents for personal use.

The curriculum can be viewed on your computer or printed out for easy reference as you use it each day. Print out one day, a whole unit, a whole month... or print the whole CD and make your own book!

One of the great advantages of having your curriculum on a disc is that you can pull together your own teaching units using a combination of the activities throughout the year. Search on the word "cloud" to get a listing of stories, language activities, activity pages, craft patterns, science activities, and large muscle activities all related to "cloud".

Orders are generally shipped via the USPS and should be received within one week to ten days.
