This is the core of the program.  It contains a wealth of valuable information, suggestions for a myriad of activities in all of the skill areas, and when used in its entirety, a total monthly curriculum program.

The curriculum guide includes two or more teaching units each month, as well as complete outlines of activities for several special days during the month.   There are also activities included for the Letter of the Week program for those providers who wish to use alphabet activities as part of their programs.  You may choose to follow the format suggested, or you may choose to use the units and speical day activities in any manner in which they fit your program.  By searching on a particular word or theme, you can assemble activities organized in any way you desire.

Background information for teaching units is provided to refresh your memory so that you will be prepared for the questions which your children are sure to ask as you talk about each topic.

The Book List contains suggestions for books which you may wish to have on hand to complement the material in the unit. 

Each month of curriculum includes approximately 20 Activity Pages which are coordinated with the curriculum themes.  The nine month curriculum series includes a total of 180 Activity Sheets.  Of these 180, 52 are alphabet letter recognition activities and 20 are number recognition activities.  Other activities include parent notes and matching activities.

The songs on the Sheet Music Pages may be used in conjunction with the units or special day activities in the curriculum.  These songs include traditional favorites as well as original and "piggy-back" tunes.  Each month includes approximately 16 different songs.
